About this coffee Confluence Blend has the entire value chain in our thoughts, from the growers, to the baristas, to the consumers. It has been designed around consistency and quality, resulting in a perfect mix of old school chocolate and new school red fruits that requires minimal maintenance on the brewers behalf. The coffees in this blend are all relationship coffees and we’re committed to all the growers and producers we currently partner with. They’re true experts at what they do and it allows us to share with you an incredibly consistent coffee year round.
The blend is split into four baskets; a core part is made up of coffees from either Linarco Rodriguez in Colombia or from Las Isabellas in El Salvador depending on the time of year. Always keeping this portion as fresh as possible. The coffee from Brazil is super important to us and comes from SMC Brasil’s Donas do Cafe program. A program that champions female producers working in coffee. As of 2023, we purchase over 100x bags of this coffee and have built a strong partnership with SMC after being introduced to them in 2018. The coffee from Tanzania is a sweet and dense coffee with lots of darker fruits and is from Sucafina and COTACOF’s Korongo program. And lastly, that sweet, juicy natural Grade 2 Heirloom from our friends at Boledu and processed at Halo Beriti.
Loaded with plenty of sugar browning flavors and chocolate and a cherry-like acidity that spruces it up to make it a sure fire crowd-pleaser, this coffee works equally well as espresso or filter and is a wildly easy drinking blend.
